Corporate Action Treatment

We have developed specific protocols for managing crypto-native events like forks and airdrops. These procedures ensure our indexes adapt to the unique dynamics of the digital asset market.

Currently, our approach to corporate actions in the cryptocurrency space is as follows:

  1. Airdrops: At present, we do not take any actions for airdrops, as they do not directly impact the reference rate indexes we currently maintain.

  2. Forks: In the event of a blockchain fork, expert judgment is required to determine the appropriate course of action. This may involve:

    • Treating the forked chain as a separate asset with a unique identifier
    • Maintaining the current index without changes, depending on the nature and significance of the fork
    • Some other action that ensures the integrity and accuracy of our indexes
